Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Legs Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks. Results vary by hair growth cycle, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can thin regrowth and extend intervals. We recommend scheduling appointments every four to six weeks for consistent maintenance and optimal results.

Waxing removes hair from the root and, over time, can reduce hair density and soften regrowth, but it is not permanent. For long-term reduction, consider professional laser treatments. Consistent waxing still yields finer, sparser hair and smoother legs for many clients.

Ensure hair is at least ¼ inch long so the wax grips properly. Exfoliate 24–48 hours before, avoid heavy tanning and retinoids, and arrive clean and dry without lotions. Inform your technician about medications or skin sensitivities to ensure safe treatment.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but sessions are quick. Our technicians use warm wax, expert technique, and calming measures to reduce pain. Apply numbing creams only if advised; breathing, post-wax cooling, and aftercare help minimize sensitivity and soreness.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, vigorous exercise, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and soothing aloe if needed. Exfoliate lightly after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Wear loose clothing and avoid perfumed products until skin calms.

Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though skin can be more sensitive—expect increased discomfort. Avoid waxing while using prescription retinoids or isotretinoin, and inform us about any medical or dermatological treatments. If unsure, consult your physician before booking to ensure safety.
