Frequently Asked Questions

Most clients enjoy hair-free skin for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and result in finer, sparser hair over time, extending smooth periods between appointments.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially in delicate areas, but skilled estheticians use quick technique and numbing products on request. Exfoliate beforehand, avoid caffeine, and breathe deeply. Pain usually decreases with repeated waxing sessions.

Ensure hair is 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, exfoliate two days before, avoid sun exposure and self-tanners, and arrive with clean, dry skin. Inform us of medications or skin conditions to prevent irritation.

Appointments usually last between 90 and 120 minutes depending on hair density and client needs. We allow extra time for sensitive areas, consultation, and gentle aftercare to ensure thorough, comfortable service.

Certain conditions like active infections, recent chemical peels, severe dermatitis, open wounds, or specific medications may contraindicate waxing. Inform your technician about pregnancy, prescriptions, or skin treatments so we can assess safety and recommend alternatives.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free lotion and gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Contact us if you notice prolonged redness or irritation.
